Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CRE.dev website, community, apps, and related services (the "Service"), operated by CRE.dev. By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA/UK). You're responsible for your account, your password, and all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Violate laws or others' rights (IP, privacy, contract).
Post spam, harassment, hateful content, or unlawful material.
Attempt to access accounts or data not yours, probe for vulnerabilities, or disrupt the Service.
Scrape, mirror, or resell the Service without written permission.
Use the AI features to generate illegal content or impersonate real people.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice.

3. User content

You keep ownership of content you post (community posts, replies, submissions). You grant CRE.dev a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Service. You represent that you have the rights to grant this license.

4. AI features

The Help concierge, Build guide, and other AI features use third-party models. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation. Verify before relying on them. We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI output.

5. Paid offerings

Some features (e.g. the Founder Kit) may be paid. Pricing, refunds, and any subscription terms are presented at checkout and incorporated into these Terms. Taxes are your responsibility.

6. Third-party services & links

The directory and tooling reference third-party products. We don't control or endorse them and aren't liable for their content, terms, or actions. Some links may be referral or affiliate links.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including the CRE.dev name, logo, design, and underlying code, is owned by CRE.dev and protected by IP laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. CRE.dev does not provide legal, tax, investment, or real estate advice. Information is for general informational purposes only.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRE.dev AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) US$100.

10. Indemnification

You'll defend and indemnify CRE.dev against claims arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for any reason, including inactivity or breach. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) will survive.

12. Changes to the Service & Terms

We may modify or discontinue features, and we may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that jurisdiction. Where required by your local law, you may have additional consumer rights.
