CRE.dev ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using cre.dev you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account & waitlist data — your email address when you join the waitlist, sign up, or contact support.
Profile data — display name, avatar, bio you choose to share in the community.
Submissions — content you post in the community, the Build flow, or Help/Support chats.
Usage data — pages visited, referrer, approximate location (from IP), device/browser info. Used to operate and improve the service.
Cookies & local storage — to keep you logged in, remember preferences, and maintain session state. We do not currently run third-party advertising trackers.

How we use information

To operate the site, deliver features (community, apps, Help AI), and respond to support.
To send transactional emails (waitlist confirmation, launch notice, account & support).
To improve the product, analyze trends, and prevent abuse or fraud.
To comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Service providers who run the platform on our behalf (hosting, database, email delivery, AI model providers). They process data under contract and only as needed.
Legal requests when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
Successors in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

AI features

Our Help concierge and Build guide use third-party AI models (e.g. Google Gemini, OpenAI) via the Lovable AI Gateway. Your messages are sent to those providers to generate responses. Don't share information you wouldn't want a vendor to process. We log conversations to improve the assistant and respond to escalations.

Data retention

We retain account and submission data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us (below).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email grokjournal@gmail.com.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (TLS, row-level security, scoped access keys). No system is perfectly secure — please use a strong, unique password.

Children

CRE.dev is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

International users

We operate from the United States. By using the service you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.

Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
